Mr. Farris attended the University of Houston receiving a B.B.A in Finance in 1974.  He was awarded his CPM® designation from the Insitute of Real Estate Management in 1979, his CCIM designation in 2004 and is a licenced real estate broker in Arizona (Licence No. BR008509000) and Texas (Licence No. 298702).


Mr. Farris has been involved in the leasing and property management field since 1974.  He began his career with Gerald D. Hines Interests, in Houston, Texas.  Mr Farris opened the Grubb & Ellis Property Services office in Houston, Texas and was responsible for the implemetation and development of all of the third party management capability in Texas.  Mr Farris has severed as independent commercial real estate broker, as well as, Vice President of Leasing for a Houston developer.  Mr. Farris has successfully formed and administerated a REO division for a two billion dollar savings and loan.  Mr Farris has opened and developed third-party management capabilities for other local and national firms over the years including Trammell Crow, Perini Investment Properties and Eagle Western Management Company.  Mr. Farris has been involved in the management of office, retail and industrial properties ranging in size from less then 25,000 square feet to more than 1,800,000 square feet.  In addition, Mr. Farris has overseen portfolios of apartment projects in exess of 5,000 units and HOA portfolios of over 10,000 homes.

Mr. Farris formed FarrMont Realty Group, Inc., AMO® in 1994, and has grown the company into a successful third-party property management company that has developed, managed and leased properties throughought Arizona.  Mr. Farris is an instructor at the Arizona School of Real Estate, and a Board Member of the local chapter of IREM.
